Kyiv reports re-deployment of heavy weapons, OSCE officials monitor hardware withdrawal by Ukrainian military

KYIV. Feb 26 (Interfax) - OSCE Special Monitoring Mission officials are monitoring the withdrawal by the Ukrainian military of artillery systems from the contact line in Donbas, the press center for the military operation has reported.

"Hardware withdrawal is being monitored by representatives of the OSCE mission," the press center said in a report posted on Facebook on Thursday evening.

The report states that anti-tank cannons MT-12 Rapira are being re-deployed to concentration areas, which are located at least 25 km from the limit envisaged in the agreements.

"It should also be said that the number of militant attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops decreased considerably over the past few days," the report says.
