Russia's Mir 24 television in breach of European Convention on Transfrontier Television

KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting has decided that Russia's Mir 24 television does not meet the requirements of he Ukrainian legislation and the European Convention on Transfrontier Television, the regulator said on Facebook on Thursday.

The decision was made based on the results of the monitoring of the channel conducted on February 13, 19 and 20. The monitoring registered news reports and fragments of television programs containing "calls for a change of the constitutional system in Ukraine, advertisement of the Russian peacekeeping forces, propaganda of war and violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine."
