Karabakh elections to have no legal force - Azeri Foreign Ministry

BAKU. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The parliamentary elections in the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, set for May 3, will be held in violation of all standards and principles of international law and will have no legal force, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Holding elections in Nagorno-Karabakh amid the continuing occupation of these Azeri territories and ethnic cleansing will blatantly violate the constitution of Azerbaijan and international law, the ministry said.
