LPR denies fully switching to Russian power supply
MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - The leadership of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) has denied that the region has fully switched to electricity supplies from Russia.
"It is not true. We are receiving power from different sources - both those located in Kyiv-controlled territories and power generating plants located in our territory," LPR envoy Vladislav Deinego told Interfax.
The Luhansk region administration, headed by Kyiv-appointed Governor Hennadiy Moskal, said earlier that the LPR had disconnected from power supply from Ukraine and had fully switched to power supply from Russia.
"The self-proclaimed republic is taking all electrical power from the Russian Federation," Moskal said.
