Normalization of U.S.-Cuban ties won't impact Moscow-Havana allied relations - deputy FM Ryabkov

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Moscow is upbeat about the normalization of U.S.-Cuban relations and is certain that this will not have a negative effect on cooperation between Moscow and Havana.

"We act with Cuban as a united front. We have allied relations with Cuba. This is a deep partnership tested in time. Visits at the highest level have added a powerful impetus to our relations. Cubans help us to develop dialog and interaction with other Latin American integration unions. And I am sure that the process of normalizing American-Cuban relations that has begun will not have an effect on all of this. We will continue working," Ryabkov told journalists on Friday.
