Police confirm launch of criminal inquiry into head of rocket engine firm
VORONEZH. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Police in Voronezh have opened a criminal case against the general director of Chemical Automatics Design Bureau (KBKhA), regional police spokeswoman Natalya Kulikova told Interfax.
"The criminal case against Vladimir Rachuk has been opened under the abuse of office article," she said.
She decline to elaborate on the case, citing lack of data.
KBKhA is one of Russia's largest design bureaus which make liquid-propellant rocket engines, and takes part in all national manned spaceflight programs. The company does the full cycle of manufacturing liquid-propellant rocket engines.
