KazTransGas raises $400 mln syndicated loan to refinance liabilities

ASTANA. March 2 (Interfax) - KazTransGas signed a loan agreement with several international banks to raise a syndicated loan facility totaling $400 million, the company says in a press release.

The organizers of the loan are Citibank, ING Bank and Natixis.

The loan is being provided for three years at 1.5% + 3M Libor.

KazTransGas will use the borrowed funds to refinance its debt obligations.

KazTransGas JSC, part of National Company KazMunayGas, was created in 2000. The company specializes in gas exploration, production, transportation and distribution.
