RusHydro, Rostelecom weight in MSCI Russia 10/40 falling as rebalancing takes effect
MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The results of a quarterly rebalancing of the MSCI Russia and MSCI Russia 10/40 indexes are entering into force, and the MSCI Russia Index's basis for calculation has remained unchanged.
The results of the rebalancing were announced on the night of February 11-12 and February 23-24 Moscow time.
In addition, no additions or exclusions were made from the composition of the index.
The MSCI Russia 10/40 index has also not been changed. Additionally, the four "heavyweights" have remained the same: Lukoil , Gazprom , Sberbank and Magnit .
Conversely, the weight of ordinary shares of Russian power generating company OJSC RusHydro is falling to 3.05% from 4.08% while that of ordinary Rostelecom shares is falling to 3.06% from 4.02%.
