Gov't committee approves bill to ratify agreement for gas shipments to China from Russia via eastern route

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Russia's government committee for legislative activities has approved a bill submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Energy Ministry to ratify an agreement for gas shipments to China from Russia via the so-called eastern route, the Cabinet of Ministers' website says.

The cooperation agreement for natural gas shipments between Russia and China was signed in Moscow on October 13, 2014.
