Lukoil hydrocarbon production up 5% to 2.3 mln boepd in 2014; oil output at 97.2 mln tonnes

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Lukoil produced 2.314 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in 2014, 5.1% more than in 2013, the oil major reported.

Oil production rose 7% to 97.208 million tonnes.

Throughput at group refineries edged up 0.3% to 66.6 million tonnes, including an increase of 0.1% at refineries in Russia.

The marginal cost to produce each barrel of oil equivalent in Russia fell 23% to $4.3 in Q4 2014. The marginal cost for the full year was $5.74 per barrel of oil equivalent.

Lukoil produced 85.8 million tonnes of oil in Russia last year, 0.8% more than in 2013. Its share of oil produced by equity affiliates amounted to 0.519 million tonnes up from 0.042 million tonnes in 2013.

Production declined 2.8% to 46.8 million tonnes at fields in Western Siberia, grew 3.8% to 15.8 million tonnes in Timan-Pechora, rose 4.4% to 14.6 million tonnes in the Urals and was up 14.8% to 6.7 million tonnes in the Volga region.

Marketed gas production declined 2.1% to 19.968 billion cubic meters (bcm), including 8.247 bcm at the Nakhodinskoye field. International gas production declined 8.4% to 8.2 bcm, largely due to lower production in Uzbekistan.

"In 2014, the output of natural gas liquids at the Group gas processing plants in Western Siberia, Ural and Volgograd regions of Russia was 13.9 million BOE, compared to 13.7 million BOE in 2013," Lukoil said.

In addition, Lukoil exported 1.5 million tonnes of light oil on the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline.
