Renzi wants to discuss Russia-EU relations, Ukrainian crisis with Putin

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has proposed discussing relations between the European Union and Russia in light of the Ukrainian crisis with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Indeed, there is a whole range of issues that should be discussed. I would like to discuss them with you in detail. It primarily concerns relations between the European Union and Russia, including in the context of the Ukrainian crisis," Renzi said at a meeting with Putin.

The Italian premier also said he would like to discuss problems facing the Mediterranean region, as well as "the dire situation in Libya."
