It is time West stops anti-Russian sanctions harmful to European economy - Moscow

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Moscow calls for the lifting of Western sanctions which are damaging both sides, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov told reporters on Thursday.

"We are confident it is time to stop the negative dynamics which is doing real harm to the economy of European countries and Russia," he said.

"Sanctions are not the way favored by Russia," Meshkov stated.
