Kadyrov gets Vkontakte account

GROZNY. March 5 (Interfax) - Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic, has registered on the Russian social networking site Vkontakte.

Kadyrov said on Instagram that he has registered on Vkontakte because many Internet users had asked him to do so. Kadyrov also said one of the reasons for this decision was to support the Russian social networking site.

Kadyrov earlier said he had fully stopped using his iPhone and will now use a Yotaphone.

Kadyrov now has over 1.5 million 'friends' on social networking sites and this figure is increasing.

Responding to a question from Interfax, Kadyrov said he does not leave any posts without his personal attention and issues instructions on issues that need consideration.
