Belarus to be invited to Eastern Partnership summit in Riga - source
BRUSSELS. March 13 (Interfax) - Six countries, including Belarus, will be invited to an Eastern Partnership summit in Riga, a high-ranking European Union official told reporters in Brussels on Friday on conditions of anonymity.
When asked whether Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will be invited to the meeting, he said the level of this country's representation was still unknown.
He confirmed that the attendees will discuss the possibility of improving EU relations with Minsk as is hoped by Latvia, which currently presides in the EU.
