Moscow hopes to carry on atomic energy cooperation with Hungary - Chizhov
MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - Moscow is expecting the Russian-Hungarian contract for nuclear fuel supply to be fulfilled and relevant cooperation to be continued, Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said.
"Definitely," he answered an Interfax question as to whether Russia expected to continue cooperation with Hungary.
The Financial Times said earlier that the Hungarian government had been negotiating with the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) the adjustment of its nuclear fuel supply contract with Russia which caused objections from European regulators.
