EU leaders not yet responded to invitation to visit Moscow on May 9 - Chizhov
MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - The European Union leaders have been invited to attend the WWII victory anniversary celebrations in Moscow on May 9 but have not made up their minds, Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said.
"They have been invited but it is up to them to decide whether or not to come here," he told reporters.
European Commission President, former head of the European Council Jean-Claude Juncker, and the then European Commission President Jose-Manuel Barroso visited Moscow ten years ago to attend celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the WWII victory, Chizhov said.
