Spending on Putin's 'May decrees' to decline by 153 bln rubles in 2015 - Minfin

MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - Budget allocations to implement the decrees that President Vladimir Putin issued shortly after returning to the presidency in May 2012 are being slashed by 152.9 billion rubles in 2015 to 585.6 billion rubles, the Finance Ministry said in materials concerning amendments to the 2015 budget.

Spending will decline by 4 billion rubles to 46.9 billion rubles for property contributions to the state corporation Housing and Utilities Sector Reform Fund.

In addition, allocations to accelerate the socioeconomic development of Siberia and the Far East will be cut by 22.2 billion rubles to 54.7 billion rubles and additional allocations for the road fund will fall by 69.9 billion rubles to 74.6 billion rubles.

Budget allocations to raise employee salaries at budget-financed organizations are slated to decline by 2.8 billion rubles to 66.7 billion rubles, financing for scientific funds will fall by 1.8 billion rubles to 5.4 billion rubles, grants to the regions to compensate a portion of salary raises for employees of budget-financed organizations will be cut by 20 billion rubles to 60 billion rubles and development of universities will receive just 10.5 billion rubles, 1.5 billion rubles less.

Co-financing for regional spending to families upon the birth of a third child will decline by 11.5 billion rubles to 13.7 billion rubles.
