Putin to chair Crimea meeting on March 18

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to chair a meeting dedicated to the development of Crimea on March 18, his secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

"We will give you all the details tomorrow," he said.

In addition to that, the Russian president is also expected to meet with South Ossetian leader Leonid Tibilov on Wednesday.

"Today we are getting ready for tomorrow's Russian-South Ossetian talks, which, we hope, will result in signing a joint document," he said.

On Thursday evening, Putin plans to leave for Kazakhstan's capital Astana, which will host a meeting of the Russian, Kazakh and Belarusian leaders on Friday.
