Kazakhstan: About 450 OSCE/ODIHR reps expected to monitor early elections
MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Astana hopes that about 450 representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) will monitor early presidential elections in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Minister-Councilor in Russia Yerlan Baizhanov said at a press briefing in Moscow.
"About the same number of election monitors are expected to arrive from countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States," he said.
