Putin could attend Crimea anniversary concert - Peskov

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - The Russian presidential press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, has not ruled out that Vladimir Putin could attend a concert marking the first year since Crimea's reunification with Russia, due to be held at the Vasilyevsky Descent on Moscow's Red Square.

"We are not ruling this out," Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

It was reported that a patriotic concert, We Are Together! to mark the anniversary since Crimea became part of Russia is to be held outside the Kremlin walls this Wednesday.

The event will last at least an hour and a half, a source in the Moscow Department of Culture told Interfax earlier. Organizers are expecting at least 50,000 people to turn up.

The concert is expected to involve Russian singers, public speakers and politicians.
