DPR insists on its involvement in Donbas local elections

MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) insists on the direct involvement of its Central Elections Commission in the Donbas elections.

"Consistent with the Minsk agreements, the local elections shall be arranged by our Central Elections Commission rather than Ukraine's," DPR People's Council Speaker Andrei Purgin told Interfax.
