MOSCOW. March 19 (Interfax) - Trucks of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry carrying humanitarian supplies have arrived in Donetsk.
This time, the humanitarian cargo includes materials needed for the sowing campaign, food, medicine, essential items, as well as textbooks and sports equipment for the city's schools and universities, the ministry's National Crisis Management Center told Interfax.
Russia's humanitarian aid convoy reached the city of Luhansk earlier on Thursday.
"The trucks are already being unloaded in Luhansk and Donetsk. They will return to Russia as soon as their work is done," a center spokesman told reporters.
The convoy, which consists of over 170 trucks, delivered more than 1,900 tonnes of humanitarian supplies to Donbas.
