Georgian president not coming to Moscow for Victory Day celebrations
TBILISI. March 19 (Interfax) - Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has been invited by the Kremlin to visit Moscow on May 9 for the Victory Day celebrations, but he will not go, Georgian Foreign Minister Tamar Beruchashvili told reporters on Thursday.
"An invitation has been received from Moscow, but the president of Georgia will not attend this meeting on May 9," Beruchashvili said.
The Georgian presidential administration also told reporters on Thursday that no preparations for a meeting between the presidents of Georgia and Russia are being made.
