Probability of conflict escalation in Donbas extremely high - Pushilin

DONETSK. March 20 (Interfax) - Denis Pushilin, an official representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in Donbas, believes the conflict in Donbas may aggravate any moment.

"The probability of conflict escalation is extremely high at any moment," he told reporters.

Pushilin also said the law on militia amnesty submitted to the Verkhovna Rada yesterday is inefficient.

"The law on amnesty of those involved in the conflict in eastern [Ukraine] submitted to the Verkhovna Rada yesterday is not going to be effective. Additionally, we have not seen this bill. Ukraine has destroyed everything and is now trying to adjust something," Pushilin said.
