MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Russian companies are ready to return to the Iraqi market to restore their positions, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.
"Russian firms and companies of various property forms - mixed, state-owned, and private, including energy companies, industrial companies, and transport [companies] - are ready to return and restore their positions on the market, [they are] ready with your support," Rogozin said at a meeting of the Russian-Iraqi intergovernmental commission.
Rogozin added that the only and most difficult issue is the security of employees of Russian companies.
"However, we are quite satisfied with the information that you have now provided to our part of the bilateral commission, the measures that the Iraqi government is ready to take on this issue," Rogozin said.
