'Indecent campaign' launched in some EU countries over May 9 - Chizhov

MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - An "indecent campaign" has been launched in some EU countries over the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Victory planned in Russia for May 9, Russia's permanent representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said.

"It is obvious that, I would say, an indecent campaign has been launched in some countries of the European Union, which does not do honor to the politicians who are involved in it and insults the memory of the Soviet soldiers and their own fellow countrymen who fell in the fight against fascism. We should leave it on their conscience," Chizhov said on a Moscow-Brussels video linkup.
