Russian Interior Minister gives no answer to question about Yanokovych son's fate
MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - Russian Interior Minsiter Vladimir Kolokoltsev stopped short of answering a question over reports about the death of a son of Ukraine's ex-President Viktor Yanukovych in Russia.
When asked by Interfax if he could confirm the death of the Yanukovych's son, the minister said: "I cannot."
Asked why, the minister said: "Because this is not the subject of today's meeting."
On Monday Kolokoltsev met with United Russia deputies in State Duma. Most part of the meeting was held behind closed doors and focused, in particular, on staff cuts in law enforcement authorities.
United Russia deputies told Interfax that none of them had asked the minister about Yanukovych's son whose death in Baikal has been reported by the media.
