Counter-terror operation under way in Dagestan district
MAKHACHKALA. March 24 (Interfax) - A counterterrorism operation was launched in the Tsumada district of Dagestan in Russia's North Caucasus at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, an operation spokesman told Interfax.
"Measures are being taken to track down and neutralize members of armed gangs and their accomplices," he added.
