MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - The capital amnesty issue will be discussed on Wednesday at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, a source familiar with progress in examining the bill told journalists.

"The issue is currently in the refinement stage," the source said, adding that it was examined on Tuesday at a meeting held by First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.

After a meeting last Wednesday, Shuvalov gave key government agencies an order to submit the bill on voluntary property declaration to parliament by March 24. The group working on the document is headed by the chairman of the State Duma's budget committee, Andrei Makarov, two sources familiar with Wednesday's meeting told Interfax.

In an address to the Federal Assembly in December, Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested introducing full amnesty for capital returned to Russia.

Finance Minister Anton Siluanov has said that the law on capital amnesty should be passed in the spring session.
