Some Western countries are interested in membership in BRICS Development Bank - Russian diplomat

MOSCOW. March 25 (Interfax) - Some Western countries are exploring the possibility of participation in the BRICS Development Bank, Vadim Lukov, Russian charge d'affaires and Russian Foreign Ministry coordinator on G20 and BRICS issues, said.

"Our Western partners are exploring the possibility of joining the BRICS Development Bank," he told reporters on Wednesday.

Lukov said interest in BRICS in the West is increasing and Western countries are now less skeptical about it.
