Russia to plan military programs bearing in mind U.S. possible arms supplies to Ukraine - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Possible supplies of weapons from the U.S. to Ukraine would undermine the Minsk agreements and directly threaten Russia's security, says Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich.

"Weapons supplies to Ukraine from the U.S. are fraught with the disruption of a fragile truce in Donbas and directly threaten the Russian Federation's security," Lukashevich said at a news briefing on Thursday.

"On our part, we have to take into consideration these militant plans and instigative statements in pursuing our own military development programs," he said.
