Lifting sanctions from Iran will bring Iran closer to nuclear bomb - Israel

MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Israel insists that the sanctions against Iran should stay in place, Israeli Ambassador to Moscow Dorit Golender said.

"Any position of Iran on Israel is not good. The best of the worst scenarios for Israel is a long-term treaty [between the Sextet and Iran] and keeping the sanctions on Iran," she told a press conference in Moscow.

"If the sanctions are lifted, it may only bring them closer to a nuclear bomb," she said.
