Russian international reserves up $1.2 bln in week
MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Russia's international reserves grew $1.2 billion to $352.9 billion in the week to March 20, the Central Bank said on Thursday.
The reserves stood at $351.7 billion on March 13.
"International reserves in the week of March 13-20 grew by $1.2 billion, or 0.3%, primarily due to a positive exchange rate and market revaluation," the bank's press service told reporters.
Reserves consist of highly liquid financial assets at the disposal of the CBR and Russian government, including foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights, the reserve position at the IMF and other reserve assets.
