Gov't commission on foreign investment has not considered issue of Glencore receiving 49% of Russneft - Artemyev

MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Russia's government commission on foreign investment did not consider at a meeting on Thursday the issue of Swiss commodity trader Glencore receiving 49% of shares in Russneft , Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) chief Igor Artemyev told reporters after the meeting.

"This deal didn't take place because Glencore is only just preparing a request for the government commission. They haven't even given us the corresponding request yet," he told reporters.

Artemyev added that as soon as the trader submits the request to the government commission, the commission will review it within the legally set time frame.
