Kazakhstan extradites Austrian citizen accused of fraud to Germany
ASTANA. March 27 (Interfax) - The Kazakh Prosecutor General's Office has ruled in favor of Germany's request seeking the extradition of Austrian citizen Manfred Nussbaumer, who is suspected of "stealing assets worth over 245,000 euro by way of fraud and the use of fake payment documents," the Prosecutor's Office said.
The extradition request was submitted by the German Justice Ministry, it said.
"The Austrian citizen was turned over to representatives of Germany's authorized services who arrived in Astana," it said.
