Donetsk continues restoring infrastructure; no shooting at night

MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - The situation in Donetsk remains calm, no shooting is heard, the city administration announced on Sunday morning.

"It was quiet in the city as at 9 a.m. with no hostilities. No reports of incidents have been received from residents," a posting on the city administration's website says.

It notes that 2,553 households remained without gas supplies and 49 boiler rooms were not supplying heat.

The report says that repair and restoration teams continue efforts to revive the urban infrastructure; life-support systems operate as usual.
