One Ukrainian serviceman killed, three wounded in Donbas in past 24 hours - Kyiv
KYIV. March 30 (Interfax) - One Ukrainian serviceman was killed in the military operation in Donbas in the past 24 hours, Andriy Lysenko, a representative of the Ukrainian command, said.
"One serviceman was killed and another three were wounded in action in the past 24 hours," he told a briefing on Monday.
Lysenko said the situation in the military operation zone is now stabilizing.
"The situation in the east is stabilizing. The use of armored vehicles and rocket and non-rocket artillery by the enemy was not registered in the past 24 hours," Lysenko said.
At the same time, he said the situation remains the most difficult in the populated areas of Shyrokyne and Granitnoye. A Ukrainian support point was attacked in Trekhizbenka and the attack has been successfully repelled, Lysenko said.
