Trilateral Contact Group, DPR, LPR begin videoconference
MOSCOW. Apr 1 (Interfax) - The Trilateral Contact Group and negotiators representing the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics have begun a videoconference to discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine.
"The videoconference has begun," Denis Pushilin, DPR negotiator involved in the discussion, told Interfax.
The videoconference will cover a broad range of issues. Kyiv insists on looking into de-escalation and prisoner swap problems, while the LPR wants Kyiv "to cancel the political decisions it has made in violation of the Minsk agreements and to fulfill the package of measures." The DPR wishes to coordinate the number and functionality of sub-groups of the Trilateral Contact Group and to discuss the adoption of an amnesty law by Ukraine.
