Vnukovo's private shareholders own about 4% of Transaero
MOSCOW. Apr 1 (Interfax) - The private shareholders of Vnukovo own a minority stake in OJSC Transaero, a source on the airline market told Interfax.
This information was confirmed by a representative of Vnukovo's board of directors, Vitaly Vantsev.
"Yes, about 4%. They bought it about five years ago on the market," he said, adding that the shares are constantly in circulation, "we are buying, selling."
Transaero declined to comment on the information about its shareholders.
Transaero is the second largest Russian airline by passengers. The main shareholders are Alexander and Olga Pleshakov, who together own 36.62% of shares.
