Gazprom Neft in 2015 expecting continuation of growth of oil production
MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft in 2015 is expecting a continuation of the growth of oil production, First Deputy CEO Vadim Yakovlev told journalists.
He said that the company "is confidently expecting an increase in hydrocarbon production in 2015." "Already for the first quarter it is possible to say that growth is good," he said.
He said that the company is also expecting in 2015 a continuation of the growth in the production of liquid hydrocarbons - oil and condensate. If in 2014 the increase of oil production by the company was 2%, then in 2015 "no less" growth is expected.
He also said that in 2014 Gazprom Neft produced 3.2 million tonnes at tight reserves, in 2015 production growth at such reserves is expected.
He said that last year Gazprom Neft was the only company that managed to increase production in Western Siberia.
Yakovlev said that thanks to the tax breaks for tight reserves of the company, it was possible to transfer 130 million tonnes to the category that is eligible for tax breaks. "Mainly these are the reserves of the Priobskoye field, which earlier were calculated according to aggregate parameters. We unbundled these figures, thus facilitating the possibility of production growth," he said.
