Russian Foreign Ministry: currently no vital need for Lavrov's presence in Lausanne

MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said he does not know whether the Russian foreign minister will return to the negotiations between the Sextet and Iran in Lausanne, adding that he believes there is no need for that.

"I currently don't know of such plans. I hope there will be no need [for Sergei Lavrov's presence in Lausanne]," he told a briefing in Moscow.

"In my opinion, there is no vital need for that," the diplomat said.
