Both planes evacuating Russians from Yemen land in Moscow region

MOSCOW. Apr 3 (Interfax-AVN) - Both planes evacuating Russian citizens and other countries from Yemen landed on the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow region on Friday, an Interfax-AVN correspondent reported.

The first plane touched down at 2:25 a.m. Moscow time with over 160 people who fled the war-stricken Yemen onboard. They included 120 citizens of Russia, 15 of Belarus, ten of Poland, eight of Ukraine, three of Kyrgyzstan, three of Uzbekistan, two of Yemen and one of Tajikistan, among them 15 babies younger than 24 months and 64 teenagers.

A second plane arrived several hours later. It airlifted over 130 people, among them 43 Russian citizens, 44 of Uzbekistan, 15 of Yemen, eight of Tajikistan, five of Belarus, five of Azerbaijan, five of Poland, three of Kyrgyzstan, two of Ukraine, one of Canada, one of Serbia, one of Lithuania and one of Moldova, including seven babies younger than 24 months and 18 teenagers.
