Russia has shipped some 400 mln cubic meters of gas to Donbas since Feb 19 - energy minister

KHABAROVSK. April 4 (Interfax) - Russia is continuing to supply natural gas to Donbas at the moment, says Russian Energy minister Alexander Novak.

"We have supplied about 400 million cubic meters of gas [to Donbas] since February 19," Novak told journalists in Khabarovsk on Saturday.

At the same time, the minister emphasized that the issue of gas supplies to Donbas is "being resolved between the two commercial companies, Gazprom and Naftogaz."

"They are already in the process of discussing this theme. Gazprom has always issued bills for the full amount [of gas shipped to Ukraine, including Donbas]. Naftogas doesn't recognize them. Then the issue has to be resolved through the established civil legal norms," he said.
