Syrian government represented by Bashar Jaafari in Moscow consultations - ambassador

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - Bashar Jaafari, the current Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic in the United Nations, leads the Syrian government delegation in the consultations with the Syrian opposition that begin in Moscow on Monday, Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyad Haddad said.

"The same members of the delegation have come to Moscow as in January. The delegation is led by Bashar Jaafari," he told Interfax on Monday.

The second round of the Syrian consultations will take place in Moscow on April 6-9. The first round took place on January 26-29. Its participants approved the "Moscow Principles," which comprise ten items.
