Moscow ready to cooperate with Iran if arms embargo lifted - agency chief

HANOI. April 6 (Interfax) - Russia's Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) is keen on Iranian sanctions being lifted and is ready to cooperate with Tehran in various areas, FSVTS chief Alexander Fomin said.

"We would be glad to see Iran relieved of sanctions. If these are lifted, we are ready for cooperation in all areas," Fomin told Interfax in Hanoi.

At the same time, he would not say whether Russia is ready to supply S-300 air defense missile systems to Iran.
