Kyiv's travel ban for Tass deputy general director 'uncivilized' decision - Kremlin spokesman
MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian authorities took an "uncivilized" step when they decided to deny entrance to Ukraine for deputy general director of the Tass news agency Alexander Kopnov, but Moscow does not intend to take similar measures in response, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.
"We deeply regret that Kyiv has resorted to such uncivilized conduct. But responding in an uncivilized manner to uncivilized conduct is not how we do things here in Moscow," he said.
Peskov, however, did not rule out that response measures could be taken with regard to some Ukrainian officials.
"Naturally, as far as some functionaries are concerned, similar actions can never be ruled out," he said.
