Investigators launch probe into nuclear submarine fire

MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) - Investigators in the Arkhangelsk region have launched a criminal inquiry into the fire on board the Oryol nuclear submarine, the Russian Investigative Committee (RIC) said.

"The RIC offices in the Arkhangelsk region and the Nenets Autonomous District have opened a criminal case under Article 216 part one of the Russian Criminal Code (violation of the safety regulations during operations, resulting in massive damage by negligence)," the RIC said
