Ukrainian army firing tanks against militia's positions - DPR Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Ukrainian government forces are firing tanks against positions held by the militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) near the village of Spartak, the Donetsk news agency reported on Friday.
"Tanks are now being fired at Spartak from the direction of Avdiyivka. It is a provocative act on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the DPR Defense Ministry told the news agency.
Reports concerning possible casualties, the number of those injured and the scope of destruction are being verified.
