Syrian opposition to ask UN Sec Gen for arranging Geneva III
MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Syrian opposition groups have decided at the second round of Moscow consultations to send a message regarding the Geneva III conference to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, senior representative of the Popular Front for Change and Liberation Qadri Jamil said.
"We have agreed on the need to send a message regarding Geneva III to the UN Secretary-General," he said at a press conference.
"I think this is everyone's demand, and I do not think that the Syrian regime will raise any objections," Jamil said.
"We should go to Geneva III and we cannot allow it to be a failure," he stated.
