Russian, Kazakh companies keen to enter Iranian market - Foreign Minister Zarif

ASTANA. April 13 (Interfax) - Many companies from various countries have already announced their readiness to be present on the Iranian market, Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said.

"Regarding the sanctions, the Islamic Republic of Iran considers them illegal. Today, many companies are interested in developing economic relations, in particular Russian and Kazakh companies are interested in entering the Iranian market," the minister said at a briefing in Astana on Monday, when asked by Interfax whether Russian companies have stepped talks over Iran projects ahead of a possible lifting of Tehran sanctions.

"We have very good relations with Russia," Zarif said.

"Today, very many companies from various countries have announced their readiness to be present on the Iranian market," he added.
